Annan go into Sunday`s game without striker David Cox who is suspended, while Neil MacFarlane is included after agreeing a short-term deal.On-loan Queen of the South striker Sean O'Connor will be involved again, but Ayr youngster Aaron Connolly has returned to Somerset Park.

Stranraer defender Glen Mitchell is fit after three months out injured.

However, Kevin Nicol's groin problem keeps him sidelined while Danny Mitchell misses out through suspension.

Annan manager Harry Cairney: "We have played one bounce game since we played Brechin in the Cup a week after facing Stranraer.

"We played well at Glebe Park and I have to hope that we can get back to that level quickly although I appreciate it may take a few minutes to get into the game."

Stranraer manager Keith Knox: "Everyone wants to beat you when you are at the top of the league and we are certainly targets now. We have to be able to handle it and Annan will be a real test of whether we can.

"We are unbeaten away from home and it would be great to leave Annan still top and unbeaten on our travels."
