Stranraer will have Declan Gallagher available after the Celtic youngster agreed a second loan deal on Thursday.
Kevin Nicol and Romuald Bouadji are available after missing the midweek Scottish Cup match with Stenhousemuir because of work commitments.
Elgin manager Ross Jack: "This game will be a great yardstick of how far Elgin have grown this season. A win will make things very interesting at the top of the table."
Stranraer manager Keith Knox: "There are always decent games between ourselves and Elgin and there are usually a few goals scored.
"Elgin are a good side that have improved well over the past 18 months so we have a lot of work to do to win here."
