Stranraer V Brechin at Stair Park - Match Preview

McKeown boost for BluesStranraer skipper Frank McKeown comes back into the reckoning for the visit of Brechin.McKeown has served a suspension but Chris Aitken and Marc Corcoran will remain on the sidelines with respective ankle and hip injuries. The Stair Park side are looking to end a disappointing run by seeing off Brechin and taking a giant stride towards the play-offs."A bit of nerves have crept into our play as the play-offs are so close to being reached but we need to shrug them off and get the win that will take us even closer to getting there," said Stranraer boss Stephen Aitken."Brechin are a good side but we have a decent record against them and hopefully we can add another win to that run."City are boosted by Alan Trouten's return from suspension as they look for the win that would end talk of automatic relegation and also give the Glebe Park side a great chance of avoiding the play-offs.Trouten's return gives manager Ray McKinnon a fully squad to choose from and he is pleased to have his talisman back in contention."When Alan is not in the team we miss his creativity and goal threat," said McKinnon

"This is a game where a win would be a great result so having Alan around increases our chances of achieving that."Stranraer will want to win and get their promotion campaign going again

However, we want it just as much."
