Honours even at Borough Briggs

Elgin and Stranraer shared the points with a 1-1 draw at Borough Briggs.

The result keeps Elgin in third place in the Scottish Third Division while Stranraer leapfrog Berwick into the final play-off spot.

Elgin, who drew their last league game against East Stirling, took the lead after nine minutes through striker Paul Millar.

Millar rose highest to head in Graeme Beveridge's cross from the right wing.

Stranraer, who thrashed Montrose 4-0 in their last league outing, drew level in the 63rd minute.

Stephen Stirling swept the ball home from close range after good work from Stuart McColm inside the penalty area.

Elgin's top scorer Craig Dunn had the chance to give his side the lead again but he screwed his shot wide.
